When it debuted in 1957, the original Sportster projected a tough and rebellious attitude that was born on the dirt tracks and drag strips of gravel from this era. That spirit lingers in every new Sportster model, the backlight Nightster Bobber bright chrome of the long tradition in 1200.
Sportster models are operated by V-Twin powertrain evolution left sequential electronic fuel injection (ESPFI) XL, rubber-mounted in the frame to reduce vibration and agreed to deliver a flat torque curve for enforcement sensitive. Among the models most-affordable Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycles offer a low, comfortable seat, smooth clutch effort, and a belt final fabric-reinforced carbon sustainable training.

Increased suspension: The suspension is improved on custom 883 custom, 1200 low and 1200. Spring and damping rates have been recalibrated and new mitigation devices have been installed to provide superior ride comfort.
New front shock absorbers: All Sportster models get a new front damper low profile that hugs the tire for a light profile, and custom made.
New rear wheel on models made to order: The 883 models made to order and made to order in 1200 receive new rear wheels that weigh four pounds less while maintaining stiffness and durability. The lighter wheel improves ride comfort by reducing unsprung weight. Custom 1200 has a new rear wheel disk notched cast aluminum chrome, while the back is 883 on order is a silver disc of solid cast aluminum.
